The high altitude of Tagaytay makes it the coolest spot in Cavite province because the city lies along Tagaytay Ridge and said to be stretching about more than 30 kilometers. With the ridge overlooking Taal Lake, a part of Batangas province, Tagaytay offers an exceptional picturesque view from several vantage points of the illustrious Taal Volcano Island, the focal point of the lake and said to be the smallest volcano in the country and possibly in the world.
Aside from marveling at the beauty of Taal Volcano, Picnic Grove is a famous place in Tagaytay that offers amenities for a choice of recreational outdoor activities as well like zipline, cable ride, horseback riding, eco trail and some open-air cottages perfect for that picnic getaway. Souvenir shops are thriving in the area that offers some of Tagaytay's famous food treats and souvenir items.
Other
place of interest in Tagaytay is the People’s Park in the Sky, said to be the
highest point of the city and a historical place transformed from curtailed
mansion built during the time of President Marcos.
